We stayed one night end of December. I must say the staff's made us our stay memorable. From the time we park our car till we depart, I must say it was outstanding service. Hotel manger was everywhere in the hotel to make sure each and every guest needs are met. He made a point to speak to each and every guest if they require any assitence.
We stayed for three nights as part of our seven day tour of Sri Lanka. Great breakfast, free wifi and very good staff who are always available and willing to make your stay more pleasant. The free shuttle to the beach is a nice touch and the beach is quite deserted and peaceful. Their pool is clean and situated right near the water.
Good place to stay when you have your ayurveda treatment in the same resort. The doctor , Dr Rohita there is very, very competent, but to have good results you must have a minimum of 2 weeks treatment every day three ours treatment, after at the resort you can relax and recover.
Laluna in Aluthgama is a well run, well appointed hotel in a beautiful setting. It is on a waterway made by a finger of land pointing out into the ocean. You look across to this finger of land with palm and other tropical trees on its banks, the hotel provides a free boat ride across the water ay where you can walk through to the ocean beach. They also have jet skis , water skiing and boat rides up past the bridge to a big lagoon.
